Middle child in a gregarious, Irish-Catholic family, Trisha Ricketts received a lifelong love of music, the written word and the arts. With short stories published in two anthologies—Storied Stuff and Grief Like Yours—and in magazines—New Directions, The Slate, Meta, and The Blue Hour, her debut novel Speed of Dark, dropped in 2022; currently, she's working on The First of June, due out in 2027.
